Yoga with The Mindful Body

As well as my work as a Feldenkrais teacher, I am also a qualified teacher of Hatha Yoga and again, I teach classes for individuals and groups in and around Sheffield. I am passionate about people finding physical and mental wellness through movement and my style of teaching yoga encourages you to find ease, comfort and confidence in the physical postures as well as discovering the benefits of relaxation and mindfulness.

My own yoga journey started with Iyengar Yoga and I still love this method of helping people to develop their yoga practice through the use of props and guided alignment. However, my own teaching  is a blend of Feldenkrais, mindfulness and gentle flow. So if you come to one of my yoga classes or have an individual lesson, you’ll find a style of yoga  which is especially adapted to help you find ease and strength in your practice. I also teach mindfulness techniques, focusing on breath and awareness. Research has proven that developing a mindful meditation practice can lower stress levels, improve physical and mental health and also help you to age better.
